China holds world trade in services exhibition in September
(MENAFN) Authorities said Tuesday (July 13) that the China International Trade in Services Fair (CIFTIS), the main platform for trade in services in the country, will be held in early September in Beijing.
Ministry of Commerce official Chen Chunjiang told a press conference that China would increase the openness of the services sector and further ease the constraints on entry to the market.
Yan Ligang, head of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said, highlighting openness, collaboration and global economic recovery, CIFTIS 2021 will focus on hot topics such as digital economy and carbon neutrality.
Besides the traditional venue of the National Convention Center of China, some CIFTIS events will be held in Shougang Park, a new landmark in the city, once a vacant industrial site in Shijingshan District, Yan added.
