Doha Trade Show 2020 to open on September 24

Doha: The second edition of the Doha Trade Exhibition 2020 will be launched at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) on Thursday at 10 a.m. Organized by the Qatari Marketers Company in cooperation with Seqlia Company for the organization of exhibitions and conferences, this year’s edition of the Doha Trade Fair will open to the public from September 24 to October 3. More than 140 local businesses are participating in this year’s event which will take place in a 5,000 m² space at DECC.

The exhibition will include local and international products including clothing, fabrics, leather, antiques, gifts, abayas for women, shoes, various household items, furniture and rugs, as well as food products, honey, spices and many more. It will be open to the public from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day. In a statement, Qatari Marketers Company CEO Hassan Jumaa reiterated that event organizers will follow government-mandated health precautionary measures when holding exhibitions, and added that organizers are trying to copy the success of the previous edition to make it an ideal destination that meets the expectations of visitors.

He then thanked the medical and government officials of the National Crisis Management Committee for their efforts in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mohamed Ammar Al Bunni, Managing Director of Seqlia Company for the Organization of Exhibitions and Conferences, added: “We will open, God willing, the Doha Trade Fair 2020, which will be a challenge after an interruption of the exhibitions. for more than six months due to coronavirus. This exhibition will support the economy and help revitalize the local market, taking note of the safety of purchases. The event will also feature a large number of celebrities from social media, social networks and a group of media professionals and attendees ”.

“We are working through this new edition of the exhibition to present a different version, but with the same level of excellence and success,” he added.

Anwar Al Sheikh, Managing Director of Qatari Marketers Company, called on the public to visit the exhibition, where all precautionary and safety measures will be provided to all visitors, to ensure their safety while shopping for family and household items under one roof.
