Dubai retains its top spot as a center for trade fairs with 135 events
Dubai retains its leading position for trade shows, congresses and other business events among other UAE cities with 135 events, according to Eventseye.com, a global business events platform.
With 184 international events since September 2022 through next year, the UAE is by far the most visited destination for business people in the region, Eventseye.com added.
Dubai’s attractiveness for the trade show industry is confirmed by Fazzaco, one of the largest B2B financial news platforms. For the first time, Fazzaco organized an exhibition focused on financial and capital markets trading, called Forex Expo, in Dubai. This added the Emirates gem to the long-standing group of partner cities for major financial events.
“We organize nine events in Asia: Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, among other countries. In Dubai, it’s the first time,” Fazzaco business development manager Sherif Qura told Trader-Magazine.com.
Dubai’s growing popularity for investor meetings in the financial and investment services industry has been confirmed by leading investment firms.
“We received the Best Mobile Trading Broker award at the Fazzaco Expo, but the main reason for our participation was that we are looking at the Dubai and UAE markets, given our business development here,” said Evrula Papadopoulos, Executive Director of Wonderinterest Trading, one of the leading licensed brokers in the EU.
With Dubai in the lead, the UAE is making strides to reach major players in the trade show industry across Asia. According to Eventseye.com, only China, India and Japan have more business events scheduled, and given the population, the UAE already seems to be number 1 in business.
