At the show, HELLA and Faurecia showcased a variety of different technology highlights for future automotive trends. From the HELLA portfolio, exhibits included 77 GHz radar sensors, an indispensable key component for automated driving, as well as the structure-borne sound sensor SHAKE and many other sensors that make driving safer, more efficient and more comfortable. In the field of electromobility, one of the main topics of the fair was the 12V Li-ion battery. This is used in electric vehicles for quiescent current and redundant power; in vehicles with thermal or hybrid engines, it can also replace the lead-acid battery. HELLA also presented the innovative Coolant Control Hub, the first product of its kind to combine all the functions necessary for efficient thermal management of electric vehicles in a single system.

Faurecia show presentation focusing on automotive seats and interior components, among others, as well as a tank system for light commercial vehicles that stores hydrogen gas at 70 megapascals, with a 15-20% weight reduction thanks to the optimization of carbon fiber structure and a maximum mass density of 7%, a lightweight and efficient tank design and storage system. Additionally, screens with advanced image processing technology have been introduced which maintain visibility even in direct sunlight and contribute to reduced power consumption.
