“The launch of Polaris marks the third major event after Photopia in 2021 and Future Moves in 2022,” said Bernd Aufderheide, CEO of Hamburg Messe und Congress. The focus will be on gaming, cosplay, i.e. dressing up as a movie, book or video game character, and content creation. Many esports experts are expected at the show thanks to RCADIA and the new gaming house in Bergedorf, which recently hosted the Hamburg Games Conference.

“Our goal is to showcase digital innovations and make them tangible, attract industry partners and connect them with a very large community,” said Tomislav Karajica, Founder of Imvest Group and one of many creative minds behind the new salon. .
