International Food Show to Launch US Event in Las Vegas | Nevada News
LAS VEGAS (AP) – Launch in the United States of a long-standing international food and beverage industry show could make Las Vegas a magnet for foodies and food retailers, distributors and wholesalers, event producers and tourism officials, said.
An announcement made Tuesday by Emerald Holding Inc. and Comexposium, owner of the SIAL brand of global food shows, was timed to cap Emerald’s ongoing International Pizza Expo, now at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

SIAL, for Salon International de L’Alimentation, has 50 years of history and claims to have attracted some 16,000 exhibitors and 700,000 visitors from 200 countries to 10 exhibitions in France, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Algeria and the Emirates. United Arabs.

The announcement organized by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority places SIAL America on the Convention Center’s program for March 2022.
It will feature organic and wellness products, drinks, groceries, sweets and bakery, fruits and vegetables, seafood, dairy products, frozen foods, snacks and meats, said the organizers and the authority.
Emerald hosts 10 other annual events in Las Vegas, including the ASD Market Week business-to-business show, the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, and the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show.
