Renault Trucks announces its presence at the Solutrans 2021 Show

Renault Trucks France will participate in the 16th Solutrans exhibition, which will be held from November 16 to 20, 2021 at Lyon-Eurexpo. The French manufacturer will present its transport solutions on a stand of more than 700 m2.

Renault Trucks has announced its presence at the next Solutrans, the international trade fair for road and urban transport solutions, which will be held from November 16 to 20, 2021 at the Eurexpo exhibition center in Lyon, the historic city of the manufacturer. For this 16th edition, Renault Trucks will exhibit 7 vehicles on a stand of more than 700 m2 (aisle 4; stand 4D104) divided into several areas:

Electric & urban mobility

Renault Trucks is committed to transforming energy, with particular emphasis on electric mobility. With its all-electric Renault Trucks ZE range, made in France, the manufacturer offers zero-emission vehicles for use, which preserve air quality and help relieve urban congestion. These trucks can be driven regardless of restrictions in urban areas.

Visitors to Solutrans will have the opportunity to see a 16t D ZE and one 26t D Large ZE on the Renault Trucks stand.

Two all electric Renault Trucks Master ZE. utility vehicles will also be presented on the stand. One will feature a Solight composite body, while the other will feature interior fittings specifically designed for courier services.

In this space dedicated to electric and urban mobility, Renault Trucks will also share its vision of the urban mobility of tomorrow.

Energy efficiency of the T, T High, C and K ranges

A Renault Trucks T High Evolution 2021 exhibited on the stand will present to Solutrans visitors the developments made this year by the manufacturer on its High range. Major improvements have been made both in terms of driving comfort and comfort on board. This is the most important development since the total renewal of the range in 2013.

At the same time, Renault Trucks is continuing its efforts to make its diesel vehicles ever more efficient in terms of fuel consumption and reduction of CO2 emissions. At Solutrans, the manufacturer will present the latest developments in this area on its high-end range.

Renault Trucks will also exhibit a T 480 running on B100. In 2020, the manufacturer launched a joint offer with Saipol (Avril Group) aimed at accelerating the development of Oleo100, a 100% French rapeseed fuel that replaces diesel. Building on the success of this offer, Renault Trucks now offers an irreversible B100 option, which guarantees exclusive use of the B100.

Circular economy

Renault Trucks is committed to extending the life of its vehicles. The manufacturer offers reconditioned trucks, including performing repairs and upgrades on its customers’ trucks.

Renault Trucks has also created the Used Truck Factory, specializing in the conversion of used vehicles and located in the Bourg-en-Bresse plant. In this workshop, the tractors are adapted to the supply of construction sites (T X-Road), transformed into carriers (T P-Road) and the vehicles are modified to meet the requirements of the African and Middle Eastern markets ( T X-Port and T X64).

Renault Trucks also recycles, by dismantling end-of-life trucks to recover parts that can be refurbished, as well as reusable raw materials which will then be reintroduced into the circuit.

As part of this approach, Renault Trucks used trucks will be represented at Solutrans, with a new limited series Renault Trucks T selection and the launch of the new Renault Trucks Used Trucks brand: Used trucks by Renault Trucks.

Location of Clovis

Finally, Renault Trucks will devote a space to the rental offers of its Clovis Location franchise. This Renault Trucks utility and industrial vehicle rental specialist will present its short, medium and long-term turnkey rental offers.
