Speakers pin hope on ‘Pak-Iran trade expo’ to boost trade and investment
ISLAMABAD: Expo speakers said on Wednesday that the “Pakistan-Iran business expo” will help bring the two countries’ business communities closer together and promote mutual investment.
Addressing the Pakistan-Iran Trade Expo, the speakers said that Pakistan and Iran occupy an important geostrategic position, which will facilitate the development of regional trade and the achievement of geoeconomic goals by countries in the region.
The three-day Pakistan-Iran trade expo is being held here from August 24 to 26 with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the two countries for mutual trade and investment.
This trade exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad with the support of the Iranian National Innovation Fund and the Iranian Ministry of Labor and Welfare.
Addressing the Pakistan-Iran Business Expo on this occasion, Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini said that the aim of the Pakistan-Iran Business Expo is to increase cooperation in trade, industry and investment in both countries.
The Ambassador said that these trade and industrial exhibitions and conferences in the two countries will prove useful in bringing the business communities of the two countries closer together.
Ambassador Mohammad Ali Hosseini said 33 Iranian companies are participating in the three-day expo, including 11 knowledge-based companies that work on science, technology and innovation.
