The country will participate in the Gulfood 2020 trade fair

Gulfood, the world’s largest annual food and beverage trade show, returns for its 25th edition with major alliance breakthroughs and multi-billion dollar export deals.
The 2019 edition of the show was the largest to date, attracting over 98,000 visitors looking for business opportunities and exploring the latest F&B products and innovations.
Azerbaijani companies will join the Gulfood 2020 food fair to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from February 16 to 20, 2020.
No less than 30 Azerbaijani companies will be present at Gulfood 2020 in Dubai at the Made in Azerbaijan booth. Food manufacturing companies will be among them, the Azerbaijani Export and Investment Promotion Fund (AZPROMO) told local media.
Companies wishing to participate in the exhibition must pass the appropriate competition. The maximum number of companies that will be selected to participate in the exhibition will reach 30.
The documents required for participation must be submitted no later than November 29.
The selection will be made according to several criteria: production potential of the products presented at the fair, export potential and experience in exporting the products.
Introducing Azerbaijan’s local products to international markets stimulates the non-oil sector of the country’s economy and strengthens trade ties with foreign countries.
Along with export missions, the organization of customer missions is one of the tools to promote Azerbaijani non-oil products under the brand “Made inAzerbaijan”.
Azerbaijani companies presented their works at the 24th edition of Gulfood, the world’s largest annual food, beverage and hospitality exhibition.
Twenty-one companies participated in the exhibition with a single “Made in Azerbaijan” booth, which showcases fruits and vegetables, confectionery, lemonades, fruit juices, mineral water, honey and produce. dairy.
Launched in 2016, the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand envisions large-scale promotion of local non-oil products in foreign markets.
