Messe Berlin is planning a number of significant changes next year to mark ITB Berlin’s first in-person edition since the pandemic began. According to Ruetz, the new concept allows ITB Berlin to explore avenues to further develop the show and also to target audiences with additional networking opportunities. On the exhibit side, the show announces the return of a popular event, with ITB Berlin 2023 again planning to honor outstanding exhibitor performances with the ITB Exhibitor Award.

BOAT & FUN BERLIN is the new meeting place for consumer products

Messe Berlin also has novelties for the general public and companies interested in B2C business. The Berlin Travel Festival, until now ITB’s consumer partner event, will in future represent the B2C element of the boating and leisure fair BOAT & FUN BERLIN, which will take place from 24 to 27 November 2022 at the Berlin exhibitions. The Berlin Travel Festival was previously held at Arena Berlin, alongside the weekend open to the public at ITB Berlin. With its new concept, Messe Berlin has established dates for the general public, who will be able to focus on a single period of time and find the full range of leisure services, as well as boats, caravanning, camping and fishing practically under one roof. . Great platform for host country Georgia

Georgia, the official host country, will play an important role at ITB Berlin 2023. Last year, it fascinated visitors as an adventure and sustainability partner of ITB Berlin and showcased its cultural attractions in the role convention and culture partner in 2022. In May, Georgia was the first destination to host the new series of TRVLX by ITB events. On Monday, March 6, on the eve of ITB Berlin 2023, Georgia will kick off the show with a festive opening gala at CityCube Berlin, which will be streamed live. Exhibitors can soon register at ITB Berlin

From mid-June, exhibitors will be able to register for ITB Berlin 2023. By registering no later than August 31, 2022 they can benefit from an Early Bird stand rental offer, from 205 EUR/m² (instead of 209,209 EUR/m²). The offer applies from the official announcement of stand registrations (estimated mid-June). The deadline for registrations is September 30, 2022.
